The decorating brush is a practical tool for working with loose gold leaf, silver leaf, gold flakes and silver flakes. Its soft surface helps lift, guide and position delicate precious-metal details on food, beverages and fine decorative work without direct contact from the fingers.
It is equally suited to precise accents and to the gentle placement of smaller sections of loose gold or silver leaf.
Application
Use the brush dry. A slight static charge may help lift very light pieces of gold or silver. Guide the precious metal carefully to the desired surface and lower it gently into place. The brush is intended for loose leaf, small leaf sections, flakes and detailed decorative work. It is not required for transfer gold leaf, which is applied directly from its backing paper.
