Shipping and Delivery
Delivery Area
We currently deliver orders placed through our online shop to addresses within Switzerland.
International deliveries are possible by prior written agreement. Additional shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes and other charges may apply. These will either be agreed individually before the order is placed or levied by the country of destination.
Shipping Costs
Standard shipping within Switzerland costs CHF 10.50.
For certain items, including brushes, gilder’s tips, tweezers, 100 g salt pouches, gold leaf and silver leaf, we charge a shipping fee of CHF 4.50.
We offer free shipping within Switzerland on orders with a value of CHF 100 or more.
The shipping costs applicable to your order are displayed in the basket or at checkout before the order is completed.
Different shipping costs may apply to bespoke items, bulk orders or individually agreed deliveries. These will be stated in the respective quotation or order confirmation.
Delivery Time
The standard delivery time within Switzerland is generally three to seven working days in total from receipt of the order or, where applicable, receipt of the required payment.
For personalised products, bespoke items, products from our Gold Atelier and other goods made to order, the delivery times stated in the quotation, on the product page or in the order confirmation apply.
Delivery may be delayed during periods of particularly high demand, company holidays, public holidays or exceptional circumstances. Delivery dates are binding only if expressly confirmed in writing by Huber Gold Switzerland.
Dispatch and Tracking
Orders are generally dispatched by Swiss Post to the delivery address provided when the order is placed.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email. If tracking is available for the selected shipping method, the confirmation will include the relevant tracking link.
Please check your delivery address carefully before completing the order. Additional costs resulting from an incomplete or incorrect address, an uncollected parcel or a repeated delivery attempt may be charged to the customer.
If the customer authorises the carrier to leave the parcel in a designated place, the shipment is deemed delivered once it has been properly deposited at the agreed location.
Damaged or Incorrectly Delivered Goods
Please inspect your delivery immediately upon receipt.
If a parcel is visibly damaged, an item is missing, or you have received an incorrect or damaged product, please contact us within five working days at info@hubergold.ch.
Please provide:
- your order number;
- a brief description;
- photographs of the affected product;
- photographs of the inner and outer packaging.
Please retain the product and all shipping packaging until the matter has been resolved. We will review the complaint and inform you of the next steps.
Delayed or Lost Shipments
If a shipment has not arrived after the usual delivery period or the tracking information has not changed for an extended period, please contact us at info@hubergold.ch.
We will check the shipping status and, where necessary, initiate an investigation with the shipping provider.
A decision regarding a replacement delivery or refund will be made once the investigation has been completed and in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions.
Returns
There is no general right to withdraw from or cancel an order, or to return goods.
Returns may be sent only with the prior written approval of Huber Gold Switzerland. Unauthorised returns may be refused.
Food products, edible gold and silver, opened or unsealed products, and personalised, custom-made or made-to-order goods are excluded from voluntary return unless they are defective, damaged or have been delivered incorrectly.
