Our edible gold filaments, made from genuine 23K gold, create fine, linear accents with an elegant sense of movement. At approximately 1 mm wide, they appear delicate, controlled and exceptionally refined.
The narrow filaments catch the light along their length, creating a smooth, almost mirror-like sheen. They are particularly beautiful on pralines, desserts, pâtisserie, chocolate, canapés and meticulously plated dishes where a precise golden line is more fitting than a flake or broad area of gold.
Each filament can be placed individually, allowing compositions of remarkable delicacy – discreet in scale, unmistakable in effect.
Application
Lift and position the filaments with fine antistatic tweezers or a dry brush. They adhere especially well to slightly moist, creamy or fat-based surfaces. Work away from draughts, as the gold is exceptionally light.
