This glass and stainless-steel mill is designed for our natural salts and gilded salt varieties. Restrained in appearance and functional in use, it is suited to reliable everyday use and an even, controlled grind.

The transparent glass body keeps the contents visible at all times. Its ceramic grinding mechanism is corrosion-resistant, neutral in taste and particularly well suited to salt. Dry crystals of up to approximately 6 mm may be used, provided they are suitable for milling.

The grind can be adjusted from fine to coarse, allowing the texture and quantity to be matched precisely to the dish.

For Natural and Gilded Salts

The mill is suitable for classic culinary salts, Persian Blue Salt and gilded salt varieties. A separate mill is especially worthwhile for rare salts: it keeps each variety dry, pure and distinct, while allowing controlled seasoning directly at the table.

Why Ceramic?

Salt can corrode conventional metal grinding mechanisms over time. Ceramic is corrosion-resistant and neutral in taste. It grinds reliably without compromising the salt or its gilded finish, and remains hygienic and easy to maintain.

Filling and Care

Fill the glass body with completely dry salt and close the mill securely. Adjust the grind using the control at the top. Do not rinse the grinding mechanism with water. Brush it out dry when required and wipe the exterior with a slightly damp cloth.
