With its coarse grain, our Persian Blue Salt is especially suited to the deliberate finishing of dishes. Whether freshly ground from the mill or used as a visible finishing salt directly over the plate, the crystals lend not only seasoning, but also texture, minerality and presence.
At 3–6 mm, the crystals are ideal for high-quality salt mills and reveal their full flavour profile when freshly ground: mild, clear and mineral-balanced. At the same time, they create elegant visible accents as a finishing salt on meat, fish, vegetables or pasta and provide a refined, natural mouthfeel.

How It Differs from the Fine Grain
While the fine grain (0.5–1.5 mm) dissolves quickly and is used directly in cooking water or sauces, the coarse grain reveals its full potential when milled. Freshly ground, the salt delivers a more vivid, immediate flavour – much as freshly ground pepper differs from pre-ground pepper. For those seeking the fullest expression, this is the right grain size.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place in a tightly closed container. Salt naturally has an unlimited shelf life; provided it remains dry, it retains its quality and flavour indefinitely.
